TP-Link AX1800 User Guide to Setup
The TP-Link AX 1800 router allows you to set up your router via the TP-link Tether app. This app can be downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Whichever way you want to configure you can configure your router in a matter of minutes.
Via Tether App
Step 1. Download the TP-Link Tether App from either of the platforms mentioned
above.
Step 2. Next, you have to open the Tether App and log in via your TP-Link
account ID. You have to create an account first.
Step 3. Now click on the router button in the app follow the instructions and set up
your wireless router and enjoy fast internet.
Via Web browser
Step 1. Connect the router with a LAN cable or wireless connection.
The details of SSID, IP Address username, and password are printed on the
bottom of the router.
Step 2. Open a web browser of your choice e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge
or any other browser.
Step 3. Type the default IP address of the router and follow the instructions.

Parental Controls
The parental control function allows you to block or restrict the content for different family members. You can allow or disallow a person from accessing particular websites, especially your children. This feature allows restrictions on access for several hours per day. You can also use a firewall via Tether the app to secure network the from unwanted security hacks.
Step 1. Go to the TP-Link router access website and log in with your ID and
password.
Step 2. Go to the Parental control tab.
Step 3. Add a profile name by the name of your family member.
Step 4. Select the profile name and devices attached to the profile. Add the blocked
content to the list.
Step 5. Select the time restrictions for internet access.
TP-Link Cloud Service
TP-Link cloud service provides access to your TP-Link router and other home network devices. The cloud service offers firmware upgrade notifications from time to time to keep your device updated.
